This course is open to Jesuit Seniors only. Your project must be pre-approved with the Christian Service Department. Students propose a service placement of their choice. They complete service with an agency or with a camp they identify and have approved in advance by Christian Service staff through an application (all resources are available in Google Classroom).

Minimum 50 hours of service or one-week overnight camp and course work (complete a reading list, participate in online reflections and assignments, maintain of an up-to-date service log, complete a final project) required. There are assignment deadlines throughout the summer, but the student does not report to campus.

Students must provide their own transportation to their service placements. In addition to registering online here, students must complete the Independent Study Application through Christian Service, available in Google Classroom.
